Cameroon is often overlooked as a holiday destination; however, it is teeming with colour and vibrancy, amazing people with deep-rooted traditions, great street barbecues and a cold beer on every street corner. Cameroon is waiting to be discovered, and contrary to what you may see in the media, it is safe to do so.
This part of Africa is extremely diverse with many different local ethnic groups existing throughout the country, all of which have different languages, food and cultural practices. In addition to local customs, the colonial past of Cameroon from the Portuguese, Germans, British and the French, have all left their mark on the country in the way of both language and architecture.
As well as its diverse people, Cameroon is also teeming with diverse landscapes, from the densely covered jungle, to volcanoes, beaches and savannah, all making up this beautiful country. Cameroon is a little more developed than the neighbouring countries of Central African Republic (CAR), Congo and Chad making it a great place to start off exploring the Central African region.
It's getting easier and easier to visit Cameroon, with the introduction of the e-visa and the cooling down from internal conflicts, and it’s only a matter of time before this place starts to get more tourists coming back. This means now is a great time to get in before things get overrun!
If our group tour dates don’t work, then we can also arrange private tours for you and your friends.
